We are so excited to invite you to spend a weekend with us in our beautiful roof top studio with stunning views of rural Wexford to learn & experience the full benefits and versatility of practicing Aerial Yoga. This intimate gathering will be offered to a maximum of 6 guests.
During our weekend retreat you will experience a variety of aerial yoga practices using both the Aerial Yoga Swing and the Aerial Yoga Hammock. These practices will be blended with traditional pranayama, meditation and blissful yoga nidras designed to reawaken & restore balance in the body, mind & soul.
You will have the opportunity to try full inversions and flow classes as well as deeply rejuvenating yin and restorative classes.
You will also get to experience the feeling of pure relaxation in our deeply relaxing floating yoga nidra and meditation classes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Basic Shared accommodation is available to stay at Ashgrove on Friday & Saturday night. It is not included in this ticket price. Full details of available accommodation options will be listed below.
Aerial Yoga Tips:
Do not eat for approx 3 hours before a morning session. For this reason we will be offering a very light early morning breakfast that is easily digestible. This will help your performance and reduce the risk of feeling nauseous while training. Wear comfortable but slim fitting clothing. Limit or remove jewellery. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, if you would prefer to use it. However, mats will be provided by the studio. Limit or preferably don't drink alcohol during the weekend especially if you haven't done inversions before. Hanging upside down with a hangover is not advisable.
Cautions: This weekend may not be suitable for you if you are at risk of the following:
Heart Conditions High or Low Blood Pressure Risk or history of stroke Glaucoma Head or neck injuries/conditions Vertigo/ Motion Sickness Pregnancy It may be possible for you to do the Retreat without participating in the inversions in some circumstances. Please check with your doctor/consultant and with Tania before booking.
Your facilitators will be Tania Murphy & Sharon Bacon.
Tania is heading towards her 8th year of teaching traditional yoga and her 5th year of teaching Aerial Yoga. She is certified in Hatha, Yin, Chair, Trapeze, Wheel and Aerial Yoga. She is also a registered Reiki Practitioner, Meditation Teacher & Holistic Counsellor.
Sharon has been teaching yoga for over 20 years. She has certified in Contemporary Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Nidra & Yoga for Menopause to name but a few. Her influences are far and wide encompassing many different traditions from Vedanta to Buddhism, Tantra, Wicca, Celtic Spirituality, Shamanism, Rhythmic Healing, Amerta Movement, 5 Rhythms and more.

All meals will be provided. We will be offering home cooked vegetarian food which will include some freshly grown vegetables from Sharon's garden. Please feel free to discuss with us any dietary needs but if you have specific requirements then you are more than welcome to bring some of your prefered foods with you. There is a small fridge in the social snug which will be available for guests to use.
Additional Fees for Shared Accommodation Options per Night are as follows:
Small Room with Double Bed - Single Occupancy - €35 pn or additional €20 to share with a friend
Large Room with Kingsize Bed - Single Occupancy - €45 pn or additional €25 to share with a friend
Air Mattress in shared studio space - Bring your own sleeping bag & pillow - €10
